All our fisherman’s pendant lights & fishermans wall lights are handmade here in the UK, not mass produced. The body and associated parts are all hand turned from aluminium, which means they do not rust and last for many years. Each can be finished in a powder coated paint (like enamel) again to last.
With a choice of colour finishes or in plain silver aluminium that could be brushed or polished if required.

Introducing The Harbour Light

The Harbour Wall mounted light is similar in size to the ever popular Large Fisherman’s Wall light, but has a simpler glass fixing. Available in the same colour range of Matt Black, Slate Grey, Silver Aluminium (best indoors) and traditional Cream.

It’s simplicity also means it is a cheaper alternative to the Large Fisherman’s light while giving the same size of light.

Available in three sizes – Small Standard 26cm dia, Large 32cm dia or Extra Large 42 cm dia – our Fisherman’s ceiling lights cater to your specific needs for both style and illumination. Whether it’s a cozy corner or a grand dining area, these pendant lights adapt effortlessly to any location.

Based in the Surrey Hills, Great Lighting has supplied ‘made for you’ and bespoke lights for more than 15 years. We have supplied lights to a number of restaurants, cafe’s and retails premises, including Waitrose, Rick Stein’s, GBK and more.

Most of our lights are made at the time of the order, here in the UK, by J D Burford & Sons, although we do often have a few of the most popular available in stock. If they need to be made they will take approximately 10 – 15 days. A few of the brass nautical lights are made in Ireland and these will be made to order, taking 15 – 28 days depending on the finish. They will be marked as such in the description.

You will not be dissapointed with the wait, there quality will last for years, with customers coming back for spares on lights 20 + years old.

Q. What payment methods can I use?

A. Payment is made at the time of the order, this can be via, Mastercard, Visa, Debit or Credit cards, or via PayPal. We also offer Pay in 3 via PayPal (instalment payments).

Q. Do you deliver outside of the UK?

A. Currently not from this website

Q. Are Your Lights in Stock

A. We often stock a small quantity of our most popular lights in popular colours, this will be shown on the respective page. If stock is shown as ‘Backorder‘, they will be made for you. (see below)

Q. What are the lead times for your lights?

A. Most of our lights are made to order and this takes time, lead times are generally 10 – 15 working days, if it’s going to be much longer we will email you. We place orders our order with the factory every week, normally for a number lights at a time, these go into production in strict rotation, hence we give a fair estimate of the delivery time, this can however vary a few days, depending how busy the factory is at the time. We aim to get all orders out as quickly as possible.

Q. I placed an order but haven’t had an email confirmation?

A. Our website automatically acknowledges your order with an email, this happens instantly, (allow a few minutes) so if you have not received the email, please check your spam / junk folder. If you do not get this, you probably will not get our emails confirming when your lights will be ready and delivery tracking emails.

Q. I placed an order, but now I have changed my mind?

A. OK, we all have second thoughts, you can cancel your order at anytime and you will be refunded in full.

Q. Can I return my light?

A. Lights purchased from this website (fishermanslights.co.uk) can be returned, unused and properly packed – full returns details here.

Q. Are your lights dimmable?

A. All our lights can be dimmed, if your using LED light bulbs you need a dimmable bulb and suitable dimmer switch, we also supply these options.

Q. Do your outside lights have Motion Sensors (PIR’s)

A. All our lights can be fitted with a stand alone PIR, or in fact run multiple lights from one sensor if required. We sell these separately here
