Replacing Your Fisherman’s Light Glass

Care of Your Fisherman’s Ceiling & Wall Lights

This article relates to maintaining & replacing the lamp glass in our Fisherman’s Wall & Pendant lights with removable shades.

These light fittings are made of Aluminium with a powder coated paint finish, this process gives a durable paint surface. Cleaning them is usually a simple task with a damp cloth. For stubourn marks a mild detergent can be used on the cloth, so that you do not soak the light.

Always ensure the light is off before you undertake cleaning and hold the glass gently whilst wiping it.

If the glass is dirty, remove it, by undoing the two retaining bolts that hold the light shade, while holding onto the glass!

All our Fisherman’s Pendant & Wall lights have a removable shade, the glass sits in the shade when it’s removed. The shade is then bolted back in place and the glass is held.

The Glass has a lip, this might vary depending on time of manufacture.

The lip sits inside the light shade, the shade then holds the glass in place. Please note: the Extra Large Pendant now has a spacer supplied, the glass sits in the spacer, then into the shade.

Always hold the glass while unscrewing retaining screws.
